I'm converting my 1975 2-44 loader/backhoe over to 12v neg Ground and thought I'd replace the original Radiator hoses while I'm at it. Plus removing the radiator would give me more room to make and install a ALT bracket. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the radiator out. I bought a parts book but even that isn't helping much. I have the weights off, the front loader frame unbolted and lilted forward, the radiator is unbolted from the front sheet metal but I cant get to the top hose or figure out how the radiator comes out. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

you need to remove nose sheet metal. my radiator mounts to the sheet metal only and not the tractor frame.

yes mine also mounts to the sheet metal. I'll pull the fuel tank cover to get at that last bolt and see if I can get to the top hose.

I'm still a bit confused on this. I haven't had much time to work on it and I'm having eye problems which doesn't help matters . Do I maneuver the radiator shell (sheet metal) out and up off the radiator , power steering and air intake?
