Cleaning injectors

I hear that injectors can be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner. Has anyone tried this?
I do have an ultrsonic cleaner for small items, but an injector should fit in. If I do try it, what liquid should I try? Maybe a parts cleaner liquid that I used for soaking carbs?

I know a shop that used one to clean them, BUT they took them all the way apart to inspect all the pieces and then reset them when they were reassembled. You are still going to test spray pattern and opening pressure. How many hours on the tractor?
