White 2-105

The clutch went away on my 1755, so I had to break down and buy another tractor to finish haying (I figured that was as good an excuse as any)
Interested to see how that Perkins is on fuel - if we ever get hay weather again
Anything I should watch for with this tractor?
Thanks
Pete

I like the 2-105s a few times I bought one for myself; it sold before I could use it much. Pretty trouble free, not to bad on fuel if setup right, can take abuse if you have hired help, etc.
Yours looks real good in the picture. How many hours does it have?

It's got 4000 hours on it. I only put up five to seven thousand small squares a year, so I'll probably only be putting a hundred hours or so a year on it, so I should be in good shape for awhile.
The only problem is that i don't really need both the 2-105 and the 1755, but it would be hard to sell either

If you price it right, it should be easy to sell.
Today, 4000 hours is not a concern with serious buyers.

Got a 2-105, bought new in Feb 1975, probably take it to the grave with me, Rode hard put away wet lots of times, heavy work, light work, makes no difference, it was always ready to go the next day. Uses a little oil on lite work ,esp mowing hay etc, put it to work oil usage very little, mostly retired now, loader tractor 50-75 hrs yearly.
