Cletrac AG-6

I bought a old Cletrac AG-6 at an auction this week for basically the price of scrap. However the poor thing is the most cobbled together vehicle i have ever seen. It has a motor from a Farmall H pieced onto it and the with the amount of welded items on the loader its hard to believe its origional.

Anyway my question is how many places are there to greese the undercarrage. I havent yet crawled underneath it yet im just trying to get a feel for what im looking for. the loader has a bunch of greese zerks but atleast on the outside of the tracts i havent found any yet.

Those 'grease zerks' on the track rollers are oil zerks.

Grease them and the undercarriage will fail. Many were greased
when seals were shot and they got the last out of the
undercarriage.

I would not put gun grease in their, call Landis Zimmerman at Cletrac.org, they sell the fitting for pumping oil into those zerks. The one I marked maybe ok. just a roller. but the rest I would not. Also get a manual. Very Helpful.... Picture is my 1939 AG

I guess the question is then what is the procedure for lubricating the undercarage of this thing. From my experience in construction most people dont oil of greese the actual plates and pins connecting them but the rollers that bear the weight im sure need to be lubricated from time to time. I dont have a manual, where can i get one/download one? Or can someone just give me the basic rundown on what i need to do.

Hop over to the Cletrac.org site and use their
search function. There"s a ton of information on
those machines.
