1850 loader seal kit

Need to rebuild a hydraulic cylinder, seals are bad
and leaks. Outside diameter is 3.14 rod is 1.37.

Any Idea where I can get the seal kit for it. Hasn't
been easy to locate.

Been around here all my life and I don"t recall ever seeing one, not that there aren"t any. Probably some north of the river, I grew up there and made it out, I don"t cross back unless I really have to. :)

I tried Agrisupply, you"d think with their website they"d of had it, no go. I guess the rod being 1.38 is unusual, but it is an oliver loader with a model and serial number. I don"t even see any parts here listed for it.

Great tractor, purchased recently, needed some serious tune up work.

On a side note, after the tune up work it would quit on me, never saw this before, the coil wire was popping off the cap. I"ve zip tied the boot, had it happen again last weekend. I"m about to glue it on. Been doing my own mechanic work for 40 years, not a novice, first for me. Typically have to grease the boots up to get them off later.

Was hoping to just be able to order a set.

Before buying this gas tractor the gas consumption issue was a concern, I"m not seeing it. Runs great and not any worse on gas than any trucks I"ve owned, then again I have farmed with it.

1 3/8" is a common size for cyl rods.
Your best bet is still a hydraulic repair shop,(not in every one horse town)..yellow pages is your friend

in my case the town most likely is Toledo Ohio known by the locals as little Detroit. :)

The leaking cylinder isn't bad enough yet for me to risk life and vehicle crossing over the Maumee to the dark side.

You maybe right, I'll hope for a link for now.

well a local dealer has just about everything for oliver tractors, even the seals for all of them in stock, 29 bucks.

Contacted 5 online, one returned my call and they were clueless as to what I needed, the local guy knew every nut and bolt like he'd just tore one apart.
