1960 550 manual steering are the right and left steering arms the same or is there a right and left side?? the arms that mount to the steering box.

They are different--If you look on the back side of the pitman arms, you will find the letter A on one & B on the other---You may have to wire brush it to see the stamped letter---As you're sitting on the tractor, the B is on the left side & the A on the right---HTH
