oil change

i have an oliver 550 diesel, how much oil do i need to change it ?
and what kind is best, shell, mobil, etc...

Jennifer, I use 15-40 diesel motor oil in all my tractors. Brand is not too significant with me.

Not sure on the quantity, but if you buy 8 qts. it probably won't get wasted!

I think my brothers gasser holds 5 quarts. Heck, even our 1855 that puts out 105 pto hp only holds 8..... that's not nearly enough.

he mark on the dipstick will tell you how much it should hold.l :wink:
I buy it by the 5 gal pail, I usually buy 4 pails at the time.
Hate to be without.
12 running diesels use a lot of oil
