I wish I had pulled this whole thing out as one unit last year when I put a clutch in it. The Over/Under had to come out this time to have it rebuilt so I took it all out together. I'll never in a million years tell you it was easy, but compared to pulling the engine alone,it sure was "easier". When I took just the engine,I had to take off the front pulley and take out the steering cylinder, but everything cleared this time. I'm glad I read everything over a few times and looked real good at the schematics, because I thought that round cast flange part had to be unbolted from the front of the transmission. It was a huge load off my mind when I found out it didn't even come out with the whole unit.
It's not going to be any picnic to put back in,but at least it's out. That unit's going to the dealer Monday morning. I'll pay the long dollar to get it right the first time before I'll go through this job again.
