I used Martin Senour gray epoxy primer and Martin Senour Urethane paint. Mixed to 3751 green color code. Compared the mixed paint to original hidden green parts on the tractor and it was a great match! Neighbor is a professional painter is painting the bodywork for me. He supplied me with the paint.

they look awsome!So what is usually done with the cast parts,brought down to bare metal or just roughed up and painted?

That thing is looking good! That is a BIG project. My intentions were not to strip it down so far, but I had the engine out to rebuild, and also had to remove the front axle to work on, and one thing led to another... Can"t wait to start putting it back together.
