Possible replacement of the cluster gauge might be required. What is the proper means to remove the existing cluster gauge? Would also like to replace the light switch.

Not a real easy job but remove battery and maybe hood would
help a little. To take the whole panel off you have to pull
steering wheel and lots of other stuff. Good luck

This 550 has a loader on it as well, making access a little more tough. Wanted to replace cluster lamps and replace light switch and try to repair the fuel gauge. Just wanted to be able to see the back side of the cluster to verify connections. Thanks for the reply.

Remove hood, remove battery, remove center dash
panel where the key is. Possibly remove side
bolts around the dash to loosen things up. You
mainly have to work through the two large access
holes behind the battery. Both gauges have a
bracket on the back side held on by small nuts.
The cluster lamps do pull right out of the back of
the gauge to replace the bulbs. With the loader
on it is a pain. It is the only real area of this
tractor that is not very user friendly to work on.
If you buy a new cluster gauge go through Korve's
Oliver. Good luck!

I got both gauges removed and I thank you for your suggestions. Wired the fuel gauge in accordance to the Oliver wiring diagram. The fuel gauge, after turning on the key goes to the full mark. Turn off the key and it goes back to the empty mark. I know its not full. Any suggestions?
