Cutting hay and had a problem with the haybine. Saw some hyd. oil in the hay and it's running out of here. Any suggestions would be appreciated for a solution to fix this.

Hate to tell ya this, however it is going to be a very expensive repair!!!
This is the restrictor to regulate the rate of drop for the remote cylinder.   The large nut has an "o" ring around it to seal between the nut and housing.   Under the cap shown in your photo is the rate of lowering adjusting screw.   Originally there was only a 3/8" nut to lock the adjustment in place and a copper washer under the nut, however we had concerns with leakage through the threads in the nut and adjuster.   Later the 3/8" nut was replaced with the cap covering the adjuster as you have.
The adjuster is turned down on it's inner end and has a spring and sliding spool.   When you remove the large nut be careful as the sliding spool can drop off the end of the adjuster and drop down the passage in the base housing.   Now you have to take the pipe out leading to the hose and go fishing, ask me how I know!

Thanks for the advice, checked the book last night, but it didn't say much about loosing the spool! Thanks Duane!!
