Well it failed. New rebuilt injection pump on. Starts and idles well. Enough power to pull the baler but not even close to powering it. I'm sure it's probably a timing issue. I put the pump back on as directed by shop manager. Guy that actually rebuilt it gave a different set of directions. On well I will pull it back off and start again. Just can't mess with it now. Too much hay to get done and the weather is perfect.

You are making way too much work out of this. Turn the pump with the timing window off till the 2 lines in the window align. Then check and see where the pointer for the flywheel is pointing to what degree on the flywheel. Are you sure you are on #1 cylinder and not #6? DON"T TAKE THE PUMP OFF! You have a phone number? J.

Thanks John. Sounds like it won't be terrible to fix. I so have a phone but just won't be near it or have time to work on the Oliver til this hay is done. I will send you my number just as soon as I have a minute. I really appreciate your willingness to help. Probably wont be til sometime next week.
