That thing is one of the straightest origionals I have seen in a while. Awesome Job!! Just out of curiosity, why do you guys across the pond buy american tractors and ship them over there? The only reason im asking is that there doesnt seem to be to many american collectors bringing european tractors over here. Just wondering how you guys caught the american tractor bug since they werent exactly the machines you grew up with.

Now THAT'S the way an original tractor shout be kept! Thanks for leaving it that way. That's one SUPER Super!

Nice job!

My son now owns my fathers S-88 narrow front tractor. It needs a complete motor overhaul and a few other things. Hopefully within the next couple of years we can get at it.

Thank you for all of your comments!

@Oliverkid:
I like your question. There are many collectors of American tractors in Europe, mostly in England, the Netherlands and Belgium. Over here in Germany only few guys like me collect and restore American tractors. This is because of the German law which makes it very difficult to make an American tractor road legal.
Nevertheless I like those old Olivers, Poppers, Farmalls, Rowcrops and so on, because they are so different to the typical German tractors (of which I own several different types).

If you are intersted in the restoring progress of this Oliver Super 88, just have look at this restoration diary:

Of course it's all in German, but I think the pics are of interest for you.
