Cockshutt 30-40-50 fender question ....

A couple of questions about the rear clamshell-type
fenders on a Cockshutt 40.

1) Are the fenders reversible (like left side, right
side the same fender)?
2) Are the fenders from the model 40 the same as for
the model 30 and/or 50?

Crazy Horse,

The L and R clamshell fenders are the same.

"30" fenders have shorter angle brackets that are bolted (with spacers on each side) to the axle housings.

The 35-40-50 are all the same and have longer angle brackets that are bolted (with spacers on each side) to the axle housings.

The actual fender size for all the above (30-35-40-50) fenders are the same.
Early fenders had smooth sheet metal
Later fenders had a vertical stiffner crease on each fender.
