Oliver OC3 sprocket question

I'm new to this forum so I hope I've got the right index. I have an Oliver OC3 crawler with one worn sprocket and have been having trouble finding a used one. Have done a Google search and found places with used parts but none have any sprockets. One place said that they weld new teeth on worn sprockets but they wanted $400 plus shipping. I thought this was rather high since used sprockets have sold for $100. Also, is this something an experienced welder could do for me? Would appreciate any suggestions or comments. Thanks.

Yes, I've tried Zimmermans, Steiner, Oliver Parts, eBay and even Craigslist. Nothing out there.

It was Zimmermans that wanted $400 plus shipping for rebuilt/welded teeth ones. I thought that was high. :?

John, if you are talking about the feller in Palmyra, his prices are a bit cheaper than Zimmermans, but he seems to be incredibly slow.

Or are you talking about the guy in the Evans Mills area who was in the Hart-Parr Oliver mag an issue or so ago?
