Oliver No. 95? cultivator OHP 70

picked up the 2 row mounted cultivator down in Iowa couple weekends ago and got it mounted on my 70 this past week (came off a 60, I have a 60 as well but that needs some work before I use it). cultivator needs some adjusting yet and new shovels but took er out and used it since its spose to rain off an on for atleast a week. couple questions I have is there is not much paint left but I can barely see a stencil that says No. 95 center (on center section can't find anything on outers), just would like to know that this is a No. 95 model. and theres these two big springs with threaded rod (the one needs straightened but where exactly do they go? found one bracket spot but don't really see another spot they would hook too. lastly on my 70 I can't put the wheel track eliminators on cause the one axle housing doesn't have the mounting holes I do have a parts 70 with correct houseings but just curious that my left housing must be a standard axle housing with row crop axle? and the dist. drive housing, I had troubles with coil so I had that off and just removed one more bolt to pull the back cover off and it seems that the dist drive is not lubed by engine oil. is this spose to be packed with grease or filled with engine oil?

Those are lift assist springs. You are missing some pieces for them. There are supposed to be 2 buckles that clamp around the front pipe, and there should be a couple eyelets on the rock shaft that the other end of the springs hook into.

I have seen batteries actually blow their top off when starting. You really should cover that thing up.Just saying.

thanks for the heads up, the cover is not on cause the dash/battery box is very rusted and the battery posts will touch the cover.

I have a new plow share radiator cap if you are interested. Have 3 aluminum left and no brass at this time. 989-329-1588.

By the way, very nice tractor. Nice to see un-restored working tractors.
