Just checking on the brand and model that Oliver used for the Super 55. Mine the plate is eligible so I can't check. Any help would be great.

What year? Gas or diesel? They were all Delco,all the diesels were 12 volt,but pre 57 gas were 6 volt,57 and 58 were 12.

My 1957 Super 55 gas has a Delco Remy generator.

Here is a generator summary that has some numbers from Delco Remy:

Gas 6 volt #1100042
Gas 12 volt #1100409
Gas 12 volt + power steering #1100345

Diesel 12 volt #1100409

Super 55 is a 1955. The tractor is new to me so I don"t know for sure if it"s 6 or 12. It"s gas for sure. I guess I could look at the battery and get an idea from that. Anyways thanks guys.
