fan shaft bearing

Tractor pulls on Saturday, doing a little maintenance. Found poor brg on my 990 and might as well change it. OMG what have I got myself into. I took the fan shaft extension off and found the snap ring, removed it and brg should just come off shaft. Well NO WAY will that P.O.S. move it's almost like end of shaft is mushroomed at the end. Any ideas guys???

Did somebody perchance loctite it on? If so, you might have to heat it to break down the loctite.

Bearing moves maybe 1/16" Can't find anything in the manual. I got desperate and put a puller on it with a "little" pressure and snapped one of the bolt holes. Oh how I wish I could not have done that!!!
Thinking about using Freon to freeze the shaft or trying somehow to file down end of shaft. (it has to be mushroomed.
Wonder if you take one of the plugs out put a grease nipple in and pump full of grease so hydraulic pressure helps push it off??
