Cockshutt 50 water pump needed

I have a 6B273 gas engine in this tractor and the water pump is leaking. Where can I purchase a kit or a complete rebuilt unit? My local napa dealer said no go. Thanks

Try Kellogg Automotive. I just saw a catalog that had them for Cockshutt/Coops within the last few weeks, but (senior moment) can't remember which one.

It would not be too hard to make up a kit. The seal is about $15.00 and prices for the bearing vary. Gaskets may or may not be available form Agco or Phil. I will send you an e-mail. J.

I"ll just toss out this general question to folks
on the Y/T froum; Would you look for the Tractor
make and model, or, the specific engine make and model? Buda ?, Hercules ?

Its a Buda engine the Cockshutt 40 uses the same water pump as does very early early Gleaner 6 cylinder combines.
