I have a new to me 88. It has two hydraulic control levers. The left side feeds two hoses that go to the cylinder on the 3 point hitch and the right two hoses are for an implement remote. I checked the pressure at the remote and it is 1000 psi at about 1/2 throttle. I raised the hitch all the way and it absolutely would not come down. Interestingly as I tried to lower the hitch the implement outlet showed pressure as well. I am certain the hoses are not crossed in any fashion. Next I attached the hitch cylinder to the remote outlet. It did go down all the way but very slowly. I then put it back on the left side outlets and it will raise but not lower. The implement outlets work well with an implement. What do you think could be the problem? On each side of the hydraulic reservoir there is a swivel fitting with an adjustment screw in the center. What is it's purpose? Also on the left side of the tractor this is in the forward most hole and on the right side it is in the rearward most hole. When I get this all corrected will this hitch have power down? Thanks for reading all this and I hope you can help.
