1950T head specs

Just started putting the new motor in the old 1950T. Got the old one out and the head to the machine shop. Can anyone tell me the correct valve protrusion and any other specs? I want to make sure the machine shop has the right info for this head. Thanks again.

On the head: Intake valve protrusion is 014 to 029. Exhaust valve protrusion is 026 to 041. Use a relative thin seat on the intake. With that slanted port it is easy to almost cut through the head if you use a thicker seat. Torque on head bolts has also changed. I will need to look it up and it will not be today or maybe not till Monday.(Out of town for a few days)Check your main bearing bores and also clearance on your oil pump to start with.

Also check the depth of the valve recession in the head of the new piston compared to the old one. I just done a 1655 which didn"t start or run right and finally figured out the recession was .030 deeper it the new ones and put old ones back in to make it start and quit slobbering till it warmed up. Not sure what I"m going to do yet to make it right as it seems all after market pistons are like this and don"t want to give Agco $400 a hole for them
