Hercules GO 198 engine

I"m looking for a hercules GO 198 engine to go in a cockshutt blackhawk. The block is broke between the sleeves. Any information where i can find a block would be appreciated. Phone number 570-916-0377

Is it only cracked at the very top of the block, or is it down at the bottom.
Generally, cracks at the top are not significant, it is pretty common with a lot of different manufacturers.
 
Check to see if it is just the webbing at the top of the block. If it is, don't be concerned as many motors run for years that way. Make sure you put on a new head gasket to separate your fluids. Steve
 
I have some of these engines and parts if you want to email me and we can descide what you really need. Where are you at as I am in NW Pennsylvania but get around abit and have a number of connections in Canada and the US.
