Here's our 2-105 with IH480 disc. I leave the wings up to cut in a bit more, then lower them down to smooth everything out. The old girl did pretty well...

How wide is that disc? Using 3rd gear?

Donald - With wings down, I think it's about 22ft.. Probably about 16ft with wings up. Yep, 3rd gear high (6mph) is about right if wheels are lifted fully. I'll run 4th gear direct if I've got a bit of weight on the wheels. Either way, it is a bit of a big disc for 105hp. But only doing about 10 acres...

Thanks for the photo, Steve!
Your 2-105 must be a very early one ('74-'76?). The earliest ones had the air-conditioning condenser mounted in a large box on the back of the cab. They used electric fans to cool the coils. I also see that someone has added a pre-cleaner to the air intake. These were available as a field-installed kit, at one time. The 2-105 is a really solid and dependable tractor. Glad to see them still hard at work!

Merlin - Good eyes! Perhaps you can even tell me the SN? It"s just amazing the amount of historical knowledge on this site...
