I have a 550 going thru a overhaul. The bearings and seal are bad on the governor shaft can"t find anywhere.I tried to talk to Waukesha when I gave them the model#415-71077 and serial#214531-482 off motor tag the rep. Says these must be Oliver numbers.does anyone know the Waukesha number or where I can find these parts.

I tried Agco the part# for the bearing is MK 236 and the seal# is MK237 but they are both discontinued

I tried all the big bearing dist. No luck, the shaft size is.375 and the standard O.D for that I.D is .875 but oliver decided to use a a non standard O.D of .8125

I wonder when they discontinued those? Last time I checked they were available. They were $90,but available.

Call Korves Oliver. They just sent me some parts, with their new blue parts list enclosed. On page 5 they list governor bushings for most tractors, along with the tool to install them. Phone is 618-939-6681. Ask for Mark, and good luck!

Are you in Canada? The MK numbers are Cockshutt numbers. I just put a set in about a year ago and all the parts were Oliver parts but the numbers had all crossed over to other Oliver numbers. Those parts are for a governor either Hoof or Pierce and they used both. Have you talked to Arrow down in Tulsa since they own the rights to that engine not Waukesha?

I have the bearing and seal in stock N.O.S. The bearing come with governor thrust spool, washer and bearing. The number is KS-261-B.

There were four different governors used on the Super 55 / 550 tractors.  Your tractor S/N 214 531 used the latest governor #164 470 AS.   If you are asking about the bearing and seal on the cross shaft & Arm that has the linkage attached (that"s the only seal on the governor) the bearing was made by NICE bearing company.  The NICE part number is 6062.  I can"t find my seal cross reference book, so can"t give you a seal number.

The last three digits you listed in the serial number, 482 is for an industrial with a shuttle forward/reverse with the four speed transmission.

Still no luck with bearings.a local mechanic told me that the governor housing is the same on different models. If anyone knows if this is true or knows where I could find a housing please let me know
