FEL Tires - what size do y'all run?

Just have to paint my loader and get ready to mount it on the 1650. While looking on line I see most tractors have "floatation" tires on the front end.

What sizes are you guys running? On my rig I have 7.5x16. Loader work round here will be light duty and intermittent. Should I step up in size or am I ok?

Most loader tractors around here have at least 9.5's on the front but they are also doing a lot of feed lot and hay work with them so soft ground and heavy loads call for the bigger tires. I would think that 7.5's would be just fine for what you are going to do.

I had 7.50 16s on the 1600. They were getting a little too rough for loader duty so I put them on the 500 for now. I had two 9.5 15 floaters off a baler I parted out,so I put those on it. I'm not liking them much. The front end is set awful wide (can't get it loose to set it in) and with those reverse rims on it,she makes a real wide path. I'm afraid of hooking a pole with one going in and out of the hay barn.

use a 9.5l 15 6 ply 3 rib tire. We took a lot of flotation tires off because they wont turn in the mud and slop.
