White 2-135 Over/Under Transmission Issue

A few years back we had the over/under rebuilt so I can't figure out why all of a sudden the under won't work. The tractor will not climb hills or sometimes even move at all when in under but direct and over seem to be fine. I should add that we did recently have an oil cooler line to the over/under leak and run the transmission low in oil but we have since fixed the leak and topped up the oil so what could be causing our under issue? Thanks in advance for your help.

under drive is a sprag clutch the tolerances on the shaft and mating surface are very critical if you lost that dimension you lost under drive , or the sprag has just failed both are possiable terry at tfe 414 378 8485

Thanks Terry I really appreciate your help!!! So it is likely that the input shaft is wore where the sprag clutch engages it?

THE OUT PUT SHAFT DOES WEAR DOWN A LITTLE YOU WONT KNOW TILL YOU PUT CALIPERS TO IT OR THE SPRAG COULD HAVE CAME APART IVE SEEN THAT HAPPEN EITHER WAY ITS GOT TO COME OUT

Output shaft has the sprag. And it isn't necessarily bad if the sprag is. The shaft should be closely inspected to make sure it won't eat another sprag in short order.

. 5 years ago my hydra power quit working in over and under. Changed oil and filter and there were a few filings. Tractor pulls 26 ft 5 row cultivator @ 1800/1900 rpm no problem. Concerned as to how many more hours I can work before major damage will happen. Some say it should not be a problem working in direct. I think the clutches are wore out. Only 6400 hrs-a Series 3. Good on fuel-about 6 gal/hr.
