A friend has Oliver Super 77 and Super 88 tractors,Standard or wheatland type. Both have odd unmatched tires. He'd like to know what are the correct rear tire sizes.

Ken:

Good question, Are the tractors the early low profile production with the non adjustable rear tread?  Late production use an front axle with long spindles and same rear axle housing and axles as the row crops.

Early Super 77 could be ordered with 11-26, 12-26 or 13-26 tires for pressed steel wheels.  Late could be 10-38, 11-38 or 12-38 tires on either pressed steel or cast iron center wheels.

Super 88, early 14-30 or 15-30 cast center.  13-26 or 14-26 pressed steel wheels.  Late production 11-38, 12-38 or 15.5-38 either in pressed steel wheels or Cast centers.
