white 2-110 electrical question

I just bought a 1984 white 2-110 tractor and am trying to get the tach and speedometer gauge to work. I got the dash pulled out and there are four small wires going into the tach gauge one of them is a small green wire and looks as if it was clipped off or pulled out 6 inches from the gauge does anybody know what wire or plug its supposed to go to and what it does. Right now the needle does not move at all and never moves from the 1900 RPM position

Did you ever get it working? I have same tach and have some questions with the wiring on mine as well.
