1600 trans lube pressure?

How much pressure would be in the line to the front pinion bearing cover? Former owner put a hose on it for some reason. Was thinking of replacing it with a 5/16 copper line? Original one may have been steel.

A copper tube will work. Also any time the tractor is in neutral keep it in the low range neutral.

I had a Oliver 1900 Industrial as a power unit in a Hancock 282 scraper and it had a pressure gauge Teed to it. Only runs 8 to 10 PSI if I remember with trans oil from a pump in transmission to oil upper shaft and idlers on it. My pump was not oiling and I welded reverse idler on to the upper shaft somehow so I guess maybe that is why guy said to leave it in LOW neutral range. I think mine had a hose in there somewhere but it was years since I looked at it.
