Cockschutt 30value

I am looking at a Cockshutt 30. These are a bit foreign to me so I am curious what the value may be. It runs and appears to be complete and pretty straight. The tires are old but about 50%. It is tricycle front. It has a live hydraulic pump on the left side of the engine. Is there any significance to the fact that it is painted Coop orange because it appears original because I can not scrape any red paint loose beneath it.

30's are fairly plentiful, not worth a lot.I have a very nice totally restored wide front that I have got a lot more money in than I could get out,but that's just old tractors. I'd say the tractor you describe $1500.00 tops. No significance in the paint. 30 and E 3 built on the same line. Not unusal to see orange under the red at all.

The orange may be a primer. I have orange under the red on my Cockshutt 35- and it can't have been a Co-op originally, because there wasn't a Co-op version of the 35.

I agree on the $1,500 value, and on down, depending on condition. They're a good tractor, something a little different if you want to take it to shows, and worth owning.

Sold 2 at auction a couple years ago. One original running great with good tires and mint tin and belt pulley for $1350 and a non running non seized for 650. This is in alberta canada. Duane o.
