Just got a 1650 and 3 pt. is down and will not raise. Hyd. level appears quite low and does not register on stick, seems to steer alright though. Just wondered if level would effect this as I don"t want to fill up just to have to tear into it for repair. Have heard of a roll pin shearing off causing this problem as well. Help appreciated, thanks.

Power steering gets first call on hyd. capacity/pressure. Other needs follow so likely you just need to add oil. If it was leaking out of bottom of pan would usually be out. Good luck

There's a half inch find thread bolt with a lock nut that sticks out of the side of the housing down by your right heel when you're sitting on the seat. It takes a 3/4 inch wrench. That's a bypass valve for using a one way cylinder. Loosen that lock nut and make sure that bolt is turned in. It pushes a ball in to a hole. Don't over tighten it so you distort that ball is all.

O.K. the screw was turned in and we added a small amount of fluid to bring to the full mark and still nothing, it doesn"t even try. Lever seems very loose with little or no resistance as if not attached somewhere. All external linkages are hooked up and moving. Where is the roll pin located that I have heard of breaking off?
