Hello I'm looking for a starter for oliver 80 standard and the clutch top cover plate

Original or anything that works?

6 or 12 volt?

I used an early Landrover starter. May have needed to machine it but don't think so - just the dimple for the fixing bolt needed to be in the right place.

Those starters are not the easiest to find but are out there. Can you rebuild yours? Thats the easiest route to go unless its missing. They do start easy with the crank though as compaired to my 28-44. Duane

I wish I could rebuild it but the tractor I got didn't come with one I found a JD starter that will work thanks
