Aftermarket Oliver 770 Hydraulic Pump

Has anyone ever fitted an after market hydraulic pump on a 770? I'm currently looking at running the new pump out the front off of the crank, but I've also been considering maybe on the backside off of the PTO somehow, hopefully without covering up/taking up the PTO. Any ideas or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

The neighbor ran a self contained unit off the belt pulley on a 77. He had some outfit that had the pump, reservoir and valve all in one. Mounted it on a pipe in the cultivator hole, made a sprocket that went on in place of the pulled and ran it with a chain. He'd shut it off when not in use. Only drawback was that it wasn't live.

I have( I think a Prince) PTO pump on mine and it works good is live so that's a plus can disengage it if not needed, only thing on mine I don't have a PTO extension shaft but its so seldom that I use the PTO its no problem.
