Went to an auction today

I attended the Jim Tichota auction in Fremont, Nebraska today. Here are some tractor prices.

Oliver 2255 MFWD – 1974 Restored - $28500
Oliver 1900 – 1961 Restored - $12750
Oliver 1955 – 1974 Restored - $11250
Oliver 1950 – 1967 Restored - $20000
Cockshutt 1950 – 1965 - $11000
Oliver 950 6 cylinder Diesel – 1958 - $6500
Oliver 770 Gas w/loader – 1965 - $5100
Oliver 88 – 1947 w/late model tin - $4000
Oliver Super 55 – 1955 $4600
Oliver 550 – 1960 - $5400

Pretty good crowd, lot's of literature and some NOS parts.

I watched this auction on the internet and the
literature prices were insane, I&T manuals going
for $120 and $140 for an operator manual for 77 &
88 Tractors.
 
I tuned in via internet too. They must of hit the mark on the advertising because people were there to spend yesterday. The restores looked pretty good, but not perfect. And yes, also puzzled by the money spent on the IT manuals!

The main auctioneer seemed like a real jerk, he berated employees over the mic a few times.
 
Thanks for posting those results. I would have liked to have the 1955 but I really couldn"t get excited about paying more than about $8500 for it. Nice looking stuff and they got a good price for everything. Good for them!
