Super 77 and Super 88

Found a couple Oliver tractors that I may be able to purchase. One is a Super 77, the other is a Super 88. Both are row crop diesels that have been stored inside, engines are loose, have some fuel in them but haven"t run for 10 years. They are in very good condition. Question is, don"t know much about Olivers, what should I do before trying to start them? Don"t want to cause damage!!

Make the screwdriver test on the injection pump before the plunger breaks! It may be too late if you cranked them over. DON'T try to start them! I will send you an e-mail on the procedure when I get home this evening. Post the serial and spec numbers if you have them

Thankfully, haven't cranked engines yet! Was able to rock tractors back and forth a little in gear to see motor movement!!
