What was the model #"s of the Oliver 5-6 bottom 16" plows after the 565-566 plows that were painted green, before they started painting them red and calling them Whites?

We've got a 546 4 bottom plow. As has been said, the 548 was another one, and I think there was one more model in the same series, just like when they had the 565 model. (we've got a 4 bottom back bone as a 3 bottom 565 as well)

The 546 that we have also has a few red frame members on it from a 508 out of the junk yard,

The first green plows after the ones you listed were the 568 and the 575 series.

The 575 was a hydraulic reset plow. The model 568 was a heavy duty series available in cushion trip OR hydraulic reset.

The Full Line catalogs give us a clue.  The 1974 catalog shows the 508, 548 & 588 plows are painted green.  In the 1975 catalog the paint gun changed to red, all shown red.

I've got a factory painted red 5-16 548 that has a green coat under it. Apparently they decided to change color on some of the old stock before it was shipped. Thought it was also a "75 but could be wrong. Great plow but always wanted to try a 588 and see how much better it could handle trash.
