1850 hard steering

Have an 1850 FWA assist thats very hard to steer!! It works fine with no play or noises, but just takes alot of effort to drive! Have replaced hydraulic pump and many lines and hoses. Looking for any advice!!! Thanks!!!!

Have you checked the pressure at the flow divider to start with? How does it steer with the front wheels off the ground? Does it have a Saginaw or Charlynn steering unit?

I have seen where junk got stuck in the flow divider.

I have not checked pressure. It is a saginaw sytem. And it steers the same with the front wheels off the ground, Possibly a little easier but not much!! Thanks for your response!!
