the tractor !! first start up couple weeks ago, 90 wt. ran a small stream out of l.h. brake housing. well at least the trans-lube pump is working ! thought I messed up installing the seal but it is the O ring . Brad Maibach said that to replace o ring the bull gear has to be pulled etc. so what is plan b? pull hsg. out as far as it will, pull shims, clean, use a product called the right stuff etc. we shall see. next problem: had a cylinder missing on left bank, found an injector stuck, freed it up but still dead. called Clarke @ henderson ky. they said they would loan their compression tester . drove 1.5 hours there & they couldn't find it. back home found a long stem rubber tipped army surplus tester that we attached 2 ears to side so the injector crow-foot will hold it down (how did I know that we would have to use crow-foot?) # 1 DEAD. removed head & found one valve with a large chunk gone. pictures next week
