77 Norrow Front

Does anyone know the length of pedestal on narrow front for a 77? I have a 77 and think it has a 880 front end. Just wondering what the height difference is in the Thanks

They are the same height.Just for giggles what is the casting # it is on the top back of the pedestal

Brad, I had a 770 nf on my 77 at one time and it set about 2-3"s higher and there was more space between the top of the pedestal and the top of the tire. Here is a picture of the original 77 pedestal. I measured from the bottom of the cast just above the spindles. Chuck

I didn't take time to look for letter yet but I did measure it and it measure 16" I see the one in pic measures 14" what letter is on that front end?

where would I find this letter you are talking about? the only letter and numbers i see are in the 2nd pic. Chuck

There is no number that I can find where your shown. The only number I can find is on hub which is k729 and I found a number on the plate where steering shaft goes into frontend and it starts with a k but cant read rest.
