That is a very nice looking tractor, I work at a tire dealer in Ark and we deliver tires thru your area and go as far as Columbia Mo. Are there many Olivers still up there? I remember going to Cabool Mo years ago to a dealer and seeing a lot of Olivers there, are they still in business?

There are a few Oliver's in the area but not all that many. I have a 1950 Oliver 77 and the S88 in the picture and I also have a Cletrac HG42 with and Oliver 60 engine. I live out side of a little town called Camdenton which is at the Junction of HWY5 and Hwy 54. I have around 30 tractor on the place but of all the common colors

I've been down hwy 5, it's long and crooked, I'd love to see your tractors, thanks again.

Have a good many plus my partner has about as many so between the 2 of use some 50 or so

My 1953 Oliver 88 with fresh paint job Didn't have to do much she was in good shape when I got it. Muffler under the hood which had never been cut and the side shields came with it.

Trying yet again to post this 1935 JD-B that has been in my family since 1940 when my grand father got it. I have around 30 or so tractors of all the common colors here. Plus I have fixed up a good many others over the years. The picture is of my son driving it in the parade power at a show

Here are pictures of some of mine, unfortunately the only tractor in these pics that I still have is the MFWD 2255. All of these were in poor condition when bought.

Here is a picture of my toys. A 1955 Super 55 diesel, a 1957 Super 55 diesel and a 1950 fleetline 66 gas. The 1955 diesel is the tractor my Dad bought new in May, 1955. I use all of them in antique pulling.

Thanks you guys for all the info and the pictures, it's a shame that Oliver couldn't be building real tractors today instead of some of this junk we have now. Thanks again.

got it on an auction that had lots of Oliver equiptment bought my disc, 83H picker, flair box, and baler/thrower all on same auction.

Sweep Plows were used in dry land country where they summer fallowed the ground and planted a crop every other year. It was pulled about 1 to 1 1/2 inches deep, just under the soil surface to cut the roots off a plant. It would leave the crop residue on top of the ground to protect it from blowing and conserve moisture. It will not work if the ground has any moisture, it will push the soil and pile it up. A heavy duty rotary hoe looking attachment called a "picker" was mounted behind to pull weeds. I have used this one but only when it is dry.

Mine is still in Ohio now but when I get it I will post pictures, Thanks again for all the info and pictures, I'm a Oliver man!
