I just picked up an Oliver utility tractor but I can id it. It does still have it id tag: Spec# 15-0005 and Ser# 16146-518. Any help would be great so I can start ordering parts.

Compliments of BA Starr -

"Specification number = first two digits, "15" is the model (early Super 55, changes made, number changed to 25). Third digit "0" is row crop. Fourth digit "0' is narrow front axle. Fifth digit is tire equipment & engine fuel, "5" is 12.4 x 28 on a diesel tractor."

"518 is the transmission code, "5" is the family or Super 55, All Super 55 & 550 powertrain codes begin with "5". "18" is the early build, 14/53 Differential driveshaft to ring gear, later code is 19."

You can look up yr. by s/n 16146 - Look to the left under Research & Info heading then Serial Numbers. I think your rig is an early model Super 55.

I don't want to be overly critical but I question your spec number system because a Super 55 is a utility tractor not a row crop and it certainly wouldn't have a narrow front.
