Loader Controls for 1650?

So something like this work? Heard loaders are rather slow on the 1650.

Not sure if I really can plumb in a grapple but sure would be handy. Thinking 1/4" line as it is limber enough to route where I need it to.

It will work. Now have you ever seen the chart where GPM determines the size line you need to keep your pressure drop at a respectable level?

Spend your money the way you want to, but there are some very good hydraulic distributors in Florida as well. What are you going to use the loader for?

look up power beyond in the archives and use a separate valve for the loader, if you use the remotes on an Oliver it will jerk everytime you want't to let down a heavy load, I have my WL40 on my 1850 plumbed with a Cross valve and run the grapple off the remotes if I am using it, a loader plumbed this way won't be super fast on a 50 series but a person can get by

You said the key word heavy load, You need to turn your restrictor in more or get yourself an line adjustable restrictor with free flow in the raise position.

No I have not seen the chart. I will check archives. Email is open if you have it and want to share.

Just shopping online now. This is first tractor that I have ever added loader to so learning as I go. Share your leads if you care to.

My other loader machine was a MF50C TLB. All hydraulics etc. came preset.

Here's the one I've got on my 1600. I got that one from Northern Tool.
I've had it on there for 13 years and I suppose I should plumb it in to the power beyond. I keep saying I'm going to,but just never bother to mess with something that works.
I've got it plugged in to the left remotes and have a long bolt through the rail along the 3 point lever holding the inside remote lever back to send oil through it all the time. I took the relief valve out of the valve and use the tractor remote relief valve.
I guess the big reason I don't change it to the power beyond is that I've changed the loader over to the 1550 several times when I've needed to do any work on the 1600 and it's quick to just plug in to the remote on the 1550 too.

Got it!
Only one big Oliver round my place. Was told the 1610 loader would fit my 77RC but I can only imagine the speed :)

Loader will remain on the 1610 while I have it - different buckets, forks etc. as required.

maybe so but you still don't have float with the Oliver remotes, I wil stay with my Cross valve, Oliver had to have about the worst hyd. system ever until the 55 series

I sure wouldn't go with that small of a hydraulic line. 3/8 would probably be fine, but I'd still go with 1/2". Could go with 3/8 after they split to go to the 2 cylinders.
