1850 1000rpm pto shaft

I've been looking for a 1000rpm shaft for my 1850, yes, it has the 2 speed pto unit. I talked to a guy who thinks he has one for an 1850, but he can't find any numbers on it to be sure. Did one shaft work for all the 50 series with 1000rpm pto or are there different ones for different models? What measurements could he take to be sure? Thanks, Chris

50 series and 55 series are the same.I bought one from this site two years ago cheapest I found and got bearing from AGCO.Used shafts from salvage yards hard to come by.As far as quality I use it for silage bagger tractor.Scott

How long is that shaft? I think I have one laying in the barn.
