Remove tank, clean it - i.e. pressure washer, steam clean, hank of chain inside while mounted to harrows. Once done then dry it good and add sealer. Should be good to go.

you can clean the tank as good as you can with muratic acid or similar take the sediment bowl and drill the inlet out to 5/16" diameter 1/2"down insert a piece of 5/16" brake line into it with thew top pinched shut and several small holes drilled in it, I have done this several times and have not had a plugged sediment bowl since, I tried Kreem tank sealer once and it was a waste of money

Used a product called por15. Can purchase as a complete kit to clean and seal. Taking your time you can get good success.

i TOOK MINE TO A LOCAL RADIATOR SHOP AND THEY CLEANED IT AND SEALED IT FOR AROUND $80.00. HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE SINCE.
