2150 PTO shaft bent

When we were re-installing the pto shaft after installing the new motor we noticed a slight bend in the end of the pto shaft towards the back of the tractor. The bend is over about the last 4-5 inches. Not so much that we couldn't get the shaft out, or that we couldn't get it back in, but it has me a little worried. If we did anything, we would just pull it out and put it in the press to straighten the bend, but if it's something I shouldn't worry about, we'll leave well enough alone. Think this is ok, or do I need to work on it some more?

How many thousands is it out? Might want to have a machine shop spin it and find out, unless you can. I would think with in .004, but I'm no machinist.

if its bent that you can see it , it probably should be replaced , theres no way you can see even .010 of a bend & if it bent that bad it will shake the thing to pieces , maybe a machine shop with a crank straightener could bend it back , but how much will it weaken the shaft? also is it to hard to even straighten may brake? , maybe one of these other oliver guys can add some input

So it is bent between the hydraulic pump drive and where it is splined into the PTO clutch? Those 2 places are supports by bearings in both cases the weakest point to me being where the needle bearings are that support the pump drive. How much is it bent? Did you have the hydraulic unit off? How good are those 2 bearings? Has anyone installed pressure lube to those bearings?

Really think it's only bent at the pto clutch splines. Without knowing, I'd guess maybe someone wrecked the pto and something came apart?
