A couple nice/not as common Olivers

Was taking the long way home yesterday with both boys sleeping in the back seat, so I swung in by the local jockey's lot and saw one of the nicest collections of Olivers and Whites in quite some time.

They've got a 2-62 gas w/ loader and a cab that looks like it was made to fit, and a deisel 4-105 mighty tow w/ aftermarket loader. Also a bunch of 4 digits, and quite a few red stripe whites (looked to be original paint)

I was wondering tho- what are the Oliver equivilants of the 2-62 and 4-105? I know it's been covered probably a dozen times but I can't remember

One that stood out to me was a 4wd 2-155 w/ westendorf loader on it.

Dealer was C. A. Tesch, in Brillion, WI if anyone wants to know.

I don't know, but I found an Old White dealer like that down in the Ozarks back in the late 90s. They had more 4 digits around there at the time than most dealers had when they were making them.

This guy is a jockey and sells everything (and lots of it) but he seems to always have more Oliver's & Whites on the lot than any other brand.

They also had a moline out back with an Oliver loader on it. I think it was a G-750 but couldn't see clearly with the loader frame in the way. Nothing is really listed on their website, so I don't know how long they've had some of these.

Who was this dealer? You can see the WFE strip sign on the building in the one picture! I once delivered some parts to a guy west of Rochelle, Illinois and in passing I asked my customer who the local White dealer was/is. He said I drove right past them! A bit confused by not seeing a dealership I asked him where- he gave mile readings from an intersection and low and behold in the weeds and trees was an old White dealer! According to him he has lots of NOS parts. Hardly could see it from the road at a stand still- forgot to note them in my notes- anyone know of this dealership?

I've heard Charlie has a healthy sized personal
collection- more than likely a majority of those
tractors are in his collection- I know where his
1950T FWA came from!

If I remember right,it was Bar B Tractor near Cabool Mo. The place was way back about two or three miles off the main road around a mountain at the end of a side road.
There was an Oliver sign on the side of an old truck box that can almost be seen in the last picture.

These ones are all out in the yard and for sale. The mini mo was pretty rough looking but intriguing non the less. I also liked the 4-105. That thing just looked mean with the loader and mfwd. Could use a canopy though.

I wish dad had a little cash to trade in and upgrade to something like the 2-62 that's made to be a loader.

Hmmmm,I'm wondering if they've moved to a new location? I just looked them up using the map on that site. I was thinking they were south of Cabool and east off the main road not north of town and west.

If it was kinda on a hill near Dixon, IL. I've been there4 a number of times. He's only open about 3 days a week and don't do much. Always rented out His shop to a mechanic and has a big collection of Hart Parr/ Oliver/white tractors.
Won't hardly sell anything he's got there.
Name will come to me as soon as I go to bed!

I've been there before years ago and I thought I went back in time there were so many Olivers around
