This tractor has a bad motor it is just sitting in the frame. It is so nice I hate to part it out. Anybody out there in Oliver land interested I can be reached at 6076423293.

Just curious,would the 453 detroit fit in a 1950-t

YES!! The 4-53 will fit -shoulda been factory installed. Have that Waukesha Turbo engine. Was over hauled then coolant leaked into crankcase, we drained it and it's been parked since 1990.

There was a 1950, with the 453 Detroit, and a 1950T which had the Waukeshaw engine.
I think the belly casting is different and the engines are not interchangeable. I believe the 1950 casting is wider. I had a 1950 when I still had the farm. I could be wrong. Best check with J. W., Schwiebert on the Oliver board
