I finally got a working power steering pump, genny combo, hung on my S 55, after two different guys worked on the pump. I was hopefull that I would finally have the power steering working today. I filled the pump with ATF and started the engine, and when the pump took prime, a fountain of ATF, shot out of my steering column. around the steering wheel. Now I know why the 2 cylinders and various power steering components, came with the tractor in a large box. This is getting to be a very long running project! After looking at the column components, in the IT service manual,I think I will take the entire assembly off and find me a professional, to hand it to. Very intimidating to me! Another normal day here!
