Got home about 3 in the afternoon.....THANKS TO DONAVAN WI!
The wheels hang about 1/2 off the trailer edge, so it"s a fun job loading and taking the head off.
I can"t say enough good things about Donavan! Really as nice a young man as I thought from his posts here and then some. He wore me out just tryin to stay out of his way! I asked him if He"d be interested in comin down here in the spring to put the header back on :>))
I am happy to have it home, now to get it off in one piece and under roof.

I wanted that combine in the worst way, but it was gona be a long drive for me and I was curious how it would fit on a trailer. glad to know its in good hands, shes a gem

Yes it does John. Dosen't look like it's had a lot of use but the fella I bought it from said He last used it about 5 years ago and it's condition says it was well cared for.

Sorry you didn't get it nate, but glad I did.
It's a bugger to load. Wheels are 9.0' outside to outside and trailer is 8.5'. I brought another home last year in rough shape so this time I cut 3- 2"X10" 9"-2" and we pushed it up with the fellas new 4X4 Massy loader tractor. Getting the feeder house off was a fight....for Donovan....

Glad to see you got it home in one piece Larry! it was nice meeting you and your friend that made the trip with you.

You never know,I might be ready for a trip come spring. Biggest problem is getting ready for spring fieldwork around here.

hey Larry we have talked before and i was wondering if we can still pick up one of your 18 combine heads for our 18. i know its been a long time since we talked about it last but we are still interested.

Jordan, before I let that one go I need to take a look at the new head pretty close. when pulling the feeder house off there is a flap that caught on a long bolt and popped a spot weld along with dining the top end of the feeder house.
I have the header off the trailer, but the rain kept me from getting the combine off so I won't know anything for a while.
