Early 990's had the same rim as the s99 later ones used a generic rim. I'm guessing you have pressed steel rims instead of hubs though?

I took the 1500 lb hubs off and put some hubs off a 99 on my 990. Had to take tires off and turn rims around and relocate vale stem to make them work.
990 was 12,600 lbs and I wanted to get to under 10,000 lb class. Now I"m adding weight as I was 8,496 lbs with no fluid in tires. All bolt on and hanging weights. thinking 34" rims will gear down enough to pull in 3rd.
Thanks to all for your feedback. I bought 3 WD9"s this year so will be getting my brother and nephew hooked. LOL

Broke the railway rail I was using as part of my puller. Then I went and got two pieces of 2"x3" steel 2" thick and finally after "big pressure" they came loose. Just about browned my shorts. LOL
